International Activities

Vytautas Magnus University devotes special attention to international activities. Today VMU is collaborating with many universities and scientists around the world, carrying out projects, student and worker exchange, constantly improving the system of studying and research.

Pursuing the strategic objective of the VMU Strategy for 2012–2020 to increase the internationality of studies, all subjects of the programme Applied Biotechnology will be also taught in English. This opens the Programme for prospective students from foreign countries and prepares the graduates for the international labour market.

VMU, via strategic alliances with certain Lithuanian and international academic partners, offers to outstanding students the possibility to follow a double diploma-programme. It gives them the opportunity to follow part of their program at a partner university and benefit from a complementary education certified by a double diploma degree, recognized in both their country of origin and host country.

Currently, Double diploma within Applied Biotechnology programme is offered only to students of specialization Plant (Horticulture, Agriculture and Forest) Biotechnology in cooperation with the following international universities:
